A Black and Gold Affair
Peninsula High School's biggest fundraising event of the year was held this past weekend at the Palos Verdes Country Club.
Members of the Peninsula High community came together Saturday night to raise money for interscholastic athletics.
The event was sponsored by the school's Athletic Booster Club, which has donated more than $200,000 per year for the past five years to Peninsula sports, impacting nearly 1,400 student athletes on campus.
Attendees bid on tickets for a sold-out Lady Gaga concert this week, front row graduation tickets and trips to Hawaii to support athletics at Peninsula High. Graduating senior athletes were also honored at the event.
