Authorities ID Man Found Dead At Base Of Cliff In San Pedro
Authorities Wednesday identified a man who was found dead at the base of a cliff in San Pedro.
SAN PEDRO, CA — Authorities Wednesday identified a man who was found dead at the base of a cliff in a park near Point Fermin in San Pedro.
Firefighters were sent to the area about 11 a.m. Monday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The man was identified by the coroner's office as Mathew Rakocija, 42.

Friend Matthew Dailey told Patch that Rakocija is a San Pedro native who had returned to the San Pedro area about six months ago after moving away for college and his career.
The cause of his death was under investigation.
