Daylight Saving Time Starts Today

Palos Verdes residents will spring forward this weekend.

People are sure to get a sleepy start to their mornings today thanks to daylight saving time, which kicked off at 2 a.m.

Palos Verdes residents received 60 minutes less sleep, but will get an extra hour of sunlight at the end of every day. Standard time won't return until early November.

Don't forget to manually change the clocks at home and in the car. It might not hurt to make sure cell phone and computer clocks have made the leap as well.
