Deputies to Address Identity Theft in Rolling Hills

A large identity theft case in Rolling Hills will be addressed by sheriff's deputies Thursday evening during a public meeting at Rancho del Mar High School.

The Lomita Sheriff's Station will hold a public meeting Thursday night to address a recent identity theft case that, according to deputies, may have compromised multiple addresses in Rolling Hills.

According to Lt. Vicki Stuckey with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, an initial case of identity theft was reported to the Lomita station on Sunday. Upon further investigation, Stuckey said that deputies determined multiple addresses may have been stolen in the area.

"It is unknown at this time how many (addresses were compromised)," said Stuckey, adding that it was definitely more than one.
