Even the Cheapest Gas Tops $4 a Gallon
The average prices posted in all local areas are $4.10 and above.

Southern California gas prices have continued their uptick, with the averages posted in all local areas now at $4.10 and above, according to the Automobile Club of Southern California’s Weekend Gas Watch.
The most recent hike brings the average prices up to $1 more than they were at the same time last year.
In the Long Beach-Los Angeles area, the average price is $4.124 per gallon, 6.9 cents more than last week, 21 cents higher than last month and up $1.02 from last year.
“With prices that are a dollar higher than this time last year, most drivers are feeling an impact on their budgets,” Auto Club spokesman Jeffrey Spring said.
According to MapQuest, the lowest price for gas in the U.S. is $3.18 in Arnegard, N.D., and the highest is here in California—$5.47 in Death Valley.
The stations currently selling the cheapest gas near the Palos Verdes area are listed below. Local prices are according to GasBuddy.com and reflect prices reported within the last 24 hours.
