Fire at Palos Verdes Estate Home Quick Doused

Fire fighters had the fire knocked down in 20 minutes.

PALOS VERDES ESTATES, CA -- A fire damaged a house in Palos Verdes Estates on Monday, but no one was hurt.

Firefighters were sent to the 4200 block Via Valmonte shortly before noon, the county fire department reported.

The flames were extinguished in about 20 minutes. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
