Framed: Students Come Together to Support Others

Peninsula High held its annual Walk for Life and a special carnival on March 18.

More than 1,000 Palos Verdes Peninsula High School students participated in the school's Walk for Life on March 18 and raised $41,000 for cancer patients.

Representatives from The City of Hope and the Redondo Beach Wellness Center were also at the event and received checks for $20,500.

Before the walk began, a carnival was held at the school featuring different booths run by students.
