Heat Won't Last for Long
The National Weather Service predicts high temps will only stick around for today.
Today's unusually high temperatures won't stick around as things cool off the rest of the week and into the weekend, the National Weather Service reports.
Highs in the Los Angeles area today were in the 80s at beaches and around 90 degrees inland.
On Friday, highs will be in the upper 60s and 70s, according to Weather Service reports. On Saturday, highs are expected in the mid-60s and lower 70s. There's a small chance of light showers on Sunday, with highs in the 60s.
