Local Girl Scouts Recognized by Supervisors

The Peninsula Neighborhood Scouts accept a proclamation from the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.

Palos Verdes Girl Scouts were recently recognized by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors to commemorate the organization's 100th anniversary.

The Peninsula Neighborhood Scouts on March 13 received a proclamation from Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky to mark the anniversary and proclaim March 11-18 Girl Scout Week.

The local scouts will also participate in a centennial celebration in May on the Peninsula.
