Mail Thieves Busted In Palos Verdes Estates

Officers uncovered a collection of stolen mail during a traffic stop in Palos Verdes Estates, authorities announced Tuesday.

PALSO VERDES ESTATES, CA — The Palos Verdes Estates Police Department arrested two suspected mail thieves, authorities announced Tuesday.

At about 5 a.m. on Aug. 10, police noticed a car with vehicle code violations in the 2500 block of Palos Verdes Drive North and conducted a traffic stop.

During a search of the car, the PVEPD officer said they discovered mail fishing tools, burglary tools, stolen mail and drug paraphernalia.

Both the driver and passenger of the car were arrested and booked into the PVEPD jail, officers said.
