Marymount, Naming of Public Facilities on RPV Council Agenda

The Rancho Palos Verdes City Council will talk parking strategies for Marymount College and amendments to a city policy regarding naming city facilities after the deceased.

At tonight's meeting, members will discuss parking management strategies at , in addition to policy changes that would decrease the amount of time required before the city can consider naming a city facility after a deceased individual.

The council will consider Councilman Stefan Wolowicz's proposal to modify the period of time required before the council can consider naming a city facility after an individual from at least five years following the person's death to at least two years.

Tonight's meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at , 29301 Hawthorne Blvd.
