UPDATE: Missing Rancho Palos Verdes Woman Found in South Bay Hospital

A missing 67-year-old Rancho Palos Verdes woman was found in a South Bay hospital Wednesday night, detectives said Thursday.

Detective Tamar Abraham did not specify the name or location of the hospital where Joan Leffler was found. Leffler was still at the hospital as of Thursday morning, Abraham said, and is "fine."

Detectives have reached out to the Rancho Palos Verdes resident's family, Abraham said.

Police after she was reported missing from her home in the 19000 block of Western Avenue.

police continued their search, saying they were still unsure of her whereabouts.
