Monday Essentials: Veterans Day

Here's what to look forward to this week in Palos Verdes.

Here are five things Palos Verdes residents should know this week:

  1. Today is Veterans Day. Government offices will be closed, and the local chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution is co-sponsoring a wreath-laying ceremony at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.
  2. The Rolling Hills Estates City Council will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m., as will the Palos Verdes Estates City Council. All council meetings will be at the cities' respective city halls.
  3. Check out this great video of a sea lion being released back into the wild off the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
