Nick Stephany to Take Over as PV High Principal Next Year
The announcement was made last week during lunch at Palos Verdes High School.

During lunch at Palos Verdes High School last week, school officials announced Assistant Principal Nick Stephany would take over as the school's principal next year, replacing current Principal Chris Bowles.Â
Stephany is currently an assistant principal at the school. According to his school website bio, Stephany taught chemistry and biology, as well as coached football prior to becoming an administrator. He received his degree from UC Davis.
Superintendent Walker Williams also came to campus for the announcement.

"Nick is an outstanding young administrator and our school and our district are very fortunate to have someone of his caliber in this position," Bowles said in a statement on the school's website. "He is a very hard worker and he has a special passion for this school. The school will be in excellent hands and now we can work to make sure there is a smooth transition."
