Palos Verdes Crime: Arrests, Incidents May 20-26

A look at recent crimes and arrests on the Palos Verdes Peninsula compiled from 's May 20-26 reports:

Rancho Palos Verdes

ARRESTS

One vandalism arrest, two vehicle law arrests, one spousal assault arrest and one DUI arrest.

INCIDENTS

Vehicle burglary:

• 11:30-12:05 p.m. May 20, 3300 block of La Rotonda Drive. The rear passenger window was smashed. A purse, wallet, money, gift cards and work ID card were reported stolen.
• 4-11:59 p.m. May 20, 100 block of Terranea Way. A window was broken. Three stage lights and a plastic case were reported stolen.
• 11-11:30 a.m. May 26, 1700 block of Westmont Drive. A passenger window was smashed. A purse, wallet, charge cards, checks, money and cellphone were reported stolen.

Commercial burglary: 4:30 p.m. May 19 through 12:23 p.m. May 20 on Terranea Way. Unknown method of entry. A watch was reported stolen.

Residential burglary:

• 10:30 a.m. to 2:10 p.m. May 22, 27100 block of Pembina Road. A window screen was cut. Two TVs and three laptops were reported stolen. 
• 10:15-11:45 a.m. May 22, 27100 block of Fon du Lac Road. A window screen was removed. The loss was unknown at the time of the report.
• 9 a.m. to noon May 24, 26800 block of Fon du Lac Road. A window was forced open. Jewelry and money were reported stolen.
• Noon to 3 p.m. May 24, 28700 block of Doverridge Drive. Entry through an unlocked sliding glass door. Video games were reported stolen. 
• 7:30 p.m. May 24 to 1 a.m. May 25, 4300 block of Via Frascati. Entry through an unlocked door. Tools, keys, a cellphone and two stereo shelf systems were reported stolen. 
• 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. May 25, 26900 block of Diamondhead Lane. The loss was unknown at the time of the report. 
• 11 a.m. May 17 to 5:15 p.m. May 25, 30900 block of Marne Drive. A TV was reported stolen. 

Grand theft: 5:45-6 a.m. May 16, 23700 block of Seagate Drive. Luggage left unattended on a curb was reported stolen.

Grand theft auto: 3:30-8:30 a.m. May 25, 4300 block of Via Frascati. White 1997 Ford Aerostar. 

Rolling Hills

ARRESTS

One narcotics arrest and one vehicle law arrest.

INCIDENTS

No incidents were reported.

Rolling Hills Estates

ARRESTS

One criminal threats arrest.

INCIDENTS

Grand theft: 8-8:45 a.m. May 21, 10 block of Country Meadow Road. Jewelry was reported stolen from a residence.

Commercial burglary: 8 a.m. Aug. 15 to 6 p.m. Aug. 19, 27500 block of Hawthorne Boulevard. Unknown method of entry. A credit card was reported stolen.
