Palos Verdes Estates Caregiver Charged With Stealing From Elderly Clients

PALOS VERDES ESTATES, CA -- A caregiver was arrested this week on suspicion of stealing from her elderly clients, police said.
Ma "Rose" Licuanan, 49, of Torrance, was accused of stealing credit cards, cash and other valuables from her clients, the Palos Verdes Estates Police Department said.
Licuanan, who also goes by the names of Maria Licuanan, Marosario Mendoza Licuanan and Rosario Licuanan, was taken into custody Tuesday, police said.

Detectives also recovered some of the alleged stolen items from Licuanan's home and vehicles, police said. She is being charged with four felony counts and two misdemeanor counts and being held without bail.
Police believe there may be other victims and are asking them to come forward. Anyone with information about this case was asked to call Sgt. Luke Hellinga at (310) 378-4211.
