Palos Verdes Nature Preserve Reopens After Rainfall

PALOS VERDES, CA —The Palos Verdes Nature Preserve, including Abalone Cove Park & Reserve, reopened Wednesday following rain on Monday, city officials said.

"Some trail closures may remain in effect," city officials said.

City officials warned Monday that the area could remain closed for up to 48 hours or more after the last rainfall for public safety and to prevent further trail erosion damage, officials said.
