Palos Verdes SWAT Standoff Ends With Armed Suspect In Custody

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — An armed suspect who was barricaded at a location in the Palos Verdes Peninsula was taken into custody Tuesday after an hours-long standoff with SWAT.

The suspect was armed and barricaded inside a home near the Chadwick School about 12 p.m. No suspect information was immediately available.

Cartesian Circle, near Academy Drive, was still closed for an ongoing investigation, officials said.
