Photo of the Day: Up in the Air

Today's photo by Field Editor John Schreiber shows an astounding aerial view of the Palos Verdes Peninsula as USAF Col. (Ret.) David Bockelman performs aerobatic maneuvers in his F1-Rocket plane. Bockelman, who spent five years building the plane, flies three times a week from the Torrance Airport and can usually be seen performing barrel rolls and other aerobatics over the ocean.
