Five area businesses and one nonprofit organization were recognized Feb. 3 by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Chamber of Commerce at the 2011 'Salute to Business' Awards.
Businesses in Palos Verdes and neighboring Torrance were recently honored by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Chamber of Commerce as part of the 2011 "Salute to Business" Awards.
The Feb. 3 awards at recognized nominees for community involvement, customer service, innovation and unique products, according to the chamber's website.
The nominees included, Best New Business: , Rancho Palos Verdes; Best Nonprofit Organization: , Palos Verdes Peninsula; Salute to Business 2011 Honoree: Classic Party Rentals, Torrance; Salute to Business 2011 Honoree: Griswold & Griswold Insurance Agency, Torrance; Salute to Business 2011 Honoree: , Rolling Hills Estates; Salute to Business 2011 Honoree: , Rolling Hills Estates.
