Poll: Should Debate on Stadium Lights End?
Some residents continue to speak out for stadium lights at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School, despite a district decision to stop the movement.

In recent Letter to the Editor submissions on Patch, residents have continued to voice their support for stadium lights at , despite a decision to put the brakes on the movement.
One resident , "The pro-lights group has proposed what sounds like a reasonable compromise: portable lights for a limited number of nights a year. That's the kind of solution that would respect one part of our community's desire to retain its traditional character as well as the other part of our community's desire to move forward."
In another letter, , "The board still has a chance to correct this issue which we are sure is not going away. We believe the board should provide the leadership for which we elected them and take steps to bridge the gap between the two sides by working out a reasonable and fair compromise."

Friday night light supporters that would come as a result of installing stadium lights at the school, in addition to the generation of more revenue for school programs. Skeptics have voiced worry about noise and other impacts on nearby neighborhoods.
