Three Palos Verdes High School students could be the first expelled from the school in years for their alleged grade-tampering plans.

Three students who allegedly broke into the school to steal copies of tests and hack into teachers' computers to change their grades might soon become the first PV High students expelled in years, according to a Daily Breeze report.

The break-in led to the Jan. 26 , who also later tried to cash in on their crime, offering to sell tests and answers to fellow students for $50 and change grades for $300, according to the Daily Breeze.

PV High School Principal Nick Stephany has since recommended expulsion for the students, with a first administrative hearing scheduled for this week, the Daily Breeze reported. He said in the report only one student has been expelled from the in the past three years: a middle school student who brandished a knife while on a school bus.
