PV's Player to Watch
Palos Verdes junior Victoria Yutronich attracts attention for her skills on the basketball court.

- Victoria has broken records as a basketball player for her high school team and has a YouTube site with more than 7,000 views that shows her game footage for coaches. ESPN has rated Victoria as a future Division 1 prospect with smart court sense and sharp ball handling skills, her father, Jerry, said.
Victoria is currently the No. 2 player in the state in total assists. PV's record for assists made over the career of a varsity player was set by Kilian Cast at 346 total assists. Victoria has tallied 473 through the middle of her junior year.
She broke the single game assist record at the Palos Verdes vs. Peninsula game, recording 15 assists for a single game.

"Victoria's ball handling and point guard skills have drawn the attention of coaches from across the country, including teams from the Ivy League as well as the Pac Ten, West Coast and Big West Conferences," Jerry said in an email.
Victoria is definitely a player to watch.
