Rainstorm This Week In Palos Verdes: Where To Find Sandbags

Sandbags are available for Palos Verdes residents ahead of forecasted rainfall this week.

PALOS VERDES, CA — Two rain storms are forecast to hit the Palos Verdes Peninsula this week, bringing light to moderate amounts of rain, according to the National Weather Service.

Rainfall is expected to arrive as early as Tuesday, but forecasters aren't predicting heavy downpour. More impactful rain is expected to arrive on Thursday into Friday, the National Weather Service said.

Early estimates for rainfall totals predict about an inch in coastal and valley regions and two to three inches in the foothills and mountains. Forecasters believe there is little risk that rain totals will be enough to cause debris flow in the burn scar areas.
