RPV Named 21st Safest City in California
Rancho Palos Verdes is the only city in the South Bay to make the list.

A business consortium of home security providers has named Rancho Palos Verdes the 21st Safest City in California in which to live.
SafeWise Security Systems included RPV among the safest cities in its list, stating, "If oceanside picnics, free outdoor theater, and ranger guided night hikes through an amazing ecological preserve sound like your family’s idea of fun, you’ll fit right in at Rancho Palos Verdes."
No other South Bay cities made the list, which only included cities with a population of more than 20,000. Because of the limit, the cities of Palos Verdes Estates, Rolling Hills and Rolling Hills Estates weren't eligible for the list.
The study was made from the company's data and research since 2011, as well as the most recent FBI Crime statistics in the U.S.
