Rancho Palos Verdes Hosts Native Plant Volunteer Event Sunday

Participants will learn about native plants in front of beautiful ocean views.

PALOS VERDES, CA - The city of Rancho Palos Verdes is searching for volunteers to plant native plant garden at the Point San Vicente Interpretive Center on Sunday.

Participants will learn about native California plants and tips for how to garden with them, while staring at beautiful ocean views. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Closed-toe shoes are required, and volunteers are asked to bring sunscreen and water.

Interested participants are asked to RSVP to Megan Wolff at megan@sccnps.org by Friday. Participants who need disability accommodations are asked to contact the city’s ADA coordinator at 310-683-3157, or email adarequests@rpvca.gov.
