Study: RPV Not Very Walkable
Walkscore.com analyzed the 327 largest cities in California to see how "walkable" they were.

This will probably come as no surprise to Rancho Palos Verdes residents, but the city is a very car-dependent city, according to rankings released this month by Walkscore.com.
With an average score of 27—the higher the score, the more walkable the city is—the majority of areas in Rancho Palos Verdes did not do very well in the survey, which uses a proprietary algorithm to analyze more than 10 million addresses and more than 2 billion walking routes to neighborhood amenities in 2,500 cities nationwide.
In California, the 327 largest cities were analyzed, and the average walk score statewide was 42—an improvement from 2011, when the average walk score was 50.
The one bright spot in the city was the Silver Spur area, which scored a 54 out of 100 and was deemed "somewhat walkable."
Palos Verdes Estates, Rolling Hills Estates and Rolling Hills were not ranked.
