Rep. Loretta Sanchez Earns Nearly $50,000 A Year on Rental Home in Rancho Palos Verdes
The home, reportedly worth between $1 million and $5 million, was a divorce settlement from her former husband.

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — Orange County Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez, who is running to replace retiring Sen. Barbara Boxer, earned between $15,000 and $50,000 a year on a rental property in Rancho Palos Verdes, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The paper was doing a comparison between the net worth of Sanchez and her rival for California's Senate seat, Kamala Harris. Both have comparable net worth that is within the normal range for working professionals in their 50s, the Times reported.
Sanchez's biggest asset is the home she rents out in Rancho Palos Verdes — a divorce settlement she received from her ex-husband, Stephen Brixey in 2004. The home is reportedly worth between $1 million and $5 million.
