RPV Council to Review Goals for 2012: What is Important?
Council members tonight will try to scale down a list of goals and priorities for 2012.
Continuing discussions from January goal-setting workshops, the Rancho Palos Verdes City Council tonight will try to narrow down a list of city goals and priorities for 2012.
Council members are set to weigh a list of the top 13 goals and scale it down to 8-12 items.

- Focus on crime prevention
- San Ramon Canyon stabilization
- Increase citizen involvement in infrastructure goal-setting and planning
- Infrastructure funding
- Evaluate "core" city services
- Shared use of and city facilities
- Full transparently of financial information
- Improve organizational efficiency
- Western Avenue commercial corridor
- Enhance general fund and CIP reserves
- Forge close city relationship with
- SCE infrastructure safety and reliability
- Trail system enhancement
The item will be brought back before the council March 20 for public input and discussion before members adopt a final list of 2012 goals and priorities.
