LOMITA, CA — Deputies with the Lomita Sheriff's Station are asking for the public's help in finding a suspect accused of slashing someone's tires during a road rage incident in Rancho Palos Verdes last month.

The suspect, according to deputies, was involved in a road rage incident in the 100 block of Terranea Way the morning of July 31. At some point, they got out of their car and slashed someone's tires with a knife, according to authorities.

"Look, we get it… traffic in L.A. can test anyone’s patience," the Lomita Sheriff's Station said in a statement Wednesday. "But no matter how frustrated you are, taking a knife to someone else’s tires isn’t 'standing your ground,' it’s just vandalism. And yes, it’s a crime."
