South Bay Weekend: Santa, Snowfest and a Holiday Concert

Where and when: 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday at in Rancho Palos Verdes. The event will feature food, crafts, musical performances and a visit with Santa. Proceeds from the annual event benefit RPV's REACH Program, serving young adults with developmental disabilities. Download a registration form here.

Price: $15 per person. Children ages 1 and younger are free with a paying adult.

Where and when: 2 p.m. Sunday at the , 26300 Crenshaw Blvd. Attend the holiday concert in the Frances Young Hall.

Pet adoption in RPV

Where and when: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the upper picnic area of . The City of Rancho Palos Verdes will partner with the City of Los Angeles’ Harbor Animal Care Center to host the event. Cats and dogs will be up for adoption. Bring cash or check for adoption fees.

Price: Free to attend

Where and when: Noon Saturday at Pier Avenue in Hermosa Beach. Sled, ski, or snowboard on blanketing Pier Avenue.

Price: Free

Where and when: 7:30 p.m. Friday, 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday at the , 710 Pier Ave. in Hermosa Beach. Get into the holiday spirit with this Puttin' on Productions show.
