Support Peninsula Education Foundation at Friendship Walk

Last year's walk raised $105,000 for the Peninsula Education Foundation.

Time is running out for people who plan to support the Peninsula Education Foundation by participating in the annual Skechers Pier to Pier Friendship Walk on Sunday.

The walk, which benefits the Friendship Circle and local education foundations, runs from the Manhattan Beach Pier to the Hermosa Beach Pier and back—a 3.4-mile journey.

People have until 11:59 p.m. Saturday to register online at skechersfriendshipwalk.com. Once registered, they can designate a specific charity—such as PEF—as well as join a school team.
