PALOS VERDES, CA — Want to help keep Palos Verdes a beautiful space? There is a volunteer opportunity for you.
Help beautify Abalone Cove Shoreline Park from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, January 18. The Abalone Cove Volunteer Event is a great opportunity for volunteers to earn community service hours, learn about local plants and animals, enjoy the outdoors and the ocean breeze, the City of Rancho Palos Verdes said.
Volunteers are provided with gloves, tools, snacks and water, while they help with native plant garden maintenance, trail maintenance and trash pickup.
