1 Killed In Pasadena Shooting
Police are investigating the slaying of a 24-year-old man died Sunday at the hospital two days after he was shot in Pasadena.
PASADENA, CA — Police Monday were investigating a man's shooting death in Pasadena.
Officers were called about 10:49 a.m. Friday to the 100 block of Painter Street where they found 24-year-old Anthony Michael Tafoya Ruiz of Los Angeles suffering from a gunshot wound, according to Pasadena Police Department Lt. Jesse Carrillo.
Paramedics took Ruiz to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead about 10:35 a.m. Sunday, Carrillo said.

"The motive for the shooting remains under investigation," Carrillo said. "Preliminary investigation revealed the shooting was not random in nature."
