City Seeks to Fill Vacancy on City Council District 3
With Councilmember Chris Holden's election to State Assembly, the city is accepting applications to fill the vacancy.

Pasadena residents have two weeks to apply to fill a vacancy on the City Council District 3.
Former Councilmember Chris Holden resigned Nov. 30 after winning the election to the State Assembly.
Applicants must be residents of Pasadena District 3, at least 18 years old and registered to vote in the city.

The city council will review the applications and conduct interviews at a special meeting. The successful appointee will serve until May 6, 2013.
All applications must be hand-delivered to the City Clerk’s office no later than 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27. The city will not accept postmarks, email submissions or faxes.

Applications will be available starting Thursday, Dec. 13 until Thursday, Dec. 27 in the City Clerk’s Office, 100 N. Garfield Ave., Room S228 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
City Hall will be closed Dec. 14 and Dec. 25. For more information call the City Clerk’s Office at (626) 744-4124.
