The Justice System Integrity Division of the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office released the findings of its inquiry into the Kendrec McDade shooting, determining Pasadena Police officers acted lawfully.

Prosecutors determined Pasadena Police officers acted lawfully in the fatal shooting of Kendrec McDade, according to the findings of an investigation released Monday.
The inquiry conducted by the Justice System Integrity Division of the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office found that officers "acted in lawful self-defense and in defense of others" when they gunned down McDade in March, according to a Pasadena Police Department news release.
