
The District's annual State of the Schools Address will be held Friday, Sept. 28 at Blair IB School campus. Breakfast will be served at 7:30 am, with the program beginning at 8:00 am.
Board of Education President Renatta Cooper will deliver the annual Address, discussing District efforts to provide an education focused on 21st century skills while continually threatened with drastic budget cuts hinging on the outcome of the November election.
PUSD Superintendent Jon R. Gundry will also deliver remarks. Breakfast will be prepared and served at 7:30 am by the Blair High School Culinary Arts and Hospitality Academy and sponsored by the Pasadena Educational Foundation and California Credit Union.

The address and breakfast are free and open to the public with an RSVP by September 25. Attendees can RSVP by email to communications@pusd.us or call 626-396-3606. Spanish translation of the remarks will be provided and tours of Blair Middle School and Blair High School will be offered following the event.
The 2012 State of the Schools will be streamed live on klrntv.org/webcast and will be broadcast on KLRN-TV (Ch. 95 on Charter and Ch. 99 on U-Verse) the following week. Blair Middle School, 1201 South Marengo Ave, Pasadena (Corner of Marengo Ave and Allendale Road). Parking will be available on the campus of Allendale Elementary School accessible from Allendale Road.
