Have You Seen This Missing Pasadena Man?

Police and the family of an 82-year-old Pasadena man who went missing Tuesday are asking the community to look out for him.

PASADENA, CA — An 82-year-old man diagnosed with the beginning stages of dementia went missing Tuesday in Pasadena.

Jonas Harry Leal was last seen in the Linda Vista neighborhood about 2:30 p.m., according to the Pasadena Police Department.

Leal is white, 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes, police said.

Leal was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, khaki pants and black dress shoes, police said.

Leal has a heavy Georgia accent and likes to walk in the neighborhood and around the Rose Bowl, police said.

Leal was diagnosed with the beginning stages of dementia, but is not aware of the diagnosis, according to police.
