Pasadena Man Shot To Death Identified
Jamal Patterson, 24, of Pasadena died from a gunshot wound to the head Oct. 28, according to Los Angeles County's medical examiner.
PASADENA, CA — The Los Angeles County medical examiner has released the name of man fatally shot last week in Pasadena.
Records from the coroner's office show that Jamal Patterson, 24, died Oct. 28 from a gunshot wound to the head. His death has been ruled a homicide.
The shooting took place along the 1000 block of Summit Avenue in Pasadena just before 10 p.m., police said.

According to police, a 24-year-old Altadena man with Patterson was also injured during the shooting and transported to a nearby hospital. His condition is currently unknown.
Police said a third man from El Monte was also with both men and was not injured.

Police do not have a suspect or a motive behind the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing.
