PEACE In The Park Brings Together Altadena & Pasadena Communities
The free event will be held this weekend at Altadena's Charles White Park.

ALTADENA, CA — Residents of Altadena and Pasadena are invited to come out to Charles White Park Saturday for "PEACE in the Park," which will feature a community-led social justice walk and discussions on mobility justice.
Community members of all ages are invited out to the event, which will be held from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event will also include arts and crafts, a free breakfast, a yoga session and a bicycle helmet giveaway, according to PEACE in the Park's organizers.
PEACE stands for "positive energy activates constant elevation," they said.

The event is sponsored in part by Dena United, a group of nonprofit organizations that "promote solidarity around issues of racial justice in Altadena and Pasadena," according to its website.
Charles White Park is located at 77 Mountain View St.
