Slab Barbecue Is Coming To Pasadena: Report
The popular Beverly Grove restaurant plans to open the doors to its Pasadena location sometime in 2022.
Fans of Slab Barbecue will soon no longer have to drive to Beverly Grove if they want to eat some of the restaurant's finger-licking ribs, as a second location will open in Pasadena next year.
Eater LA reports the restaurant will open sometime next spring at 812 S. Arroyo Parkway, just a short walk away from other popular eateries like Howlin’ Rays and Shake Shack.
Slab owner Burt Bakman told What Now Los Angeles that diners can expect a menu collaboration with Howlin’ Rays on an item blending Slab’s barbecue with the other's Nashville-style hot chicken.

Until the Pasadena location opens, residents hungry for Slab's barbecue will still have to make that trek to its location at 8136 W. 3rd St.
