PETALUMA, CA — Petaluma police arrested two East Bay men Tuesday morning on suspicion of stealing a dump truck with an attached flatbed trailer and a tractor from an East Bay construction company Monday evening.

At about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, officers arrived at 4986 Petaluma Blvd. N., the location indicated by a Global Positioning System in the dump truck, and contacted the two men who had prior theft convictions and were on probation, Sgt. Lance Novello said.

The suspects, identified as Patrick Fagundes, 42, of Hayward, and Erik Johnson, 46, of Oakland, worked together and allegedly planned to sell some of the equipment in Petaluma, Novello said.
