Buckle Up for the Worst Potholes in Petaluma

We asked Patch Readers which streets have the most bumps, divots and craters in their area.

Nothing puts a dent in a morning commute like bad traffic and a street littered with potholes.

This year’s ‘Godzilla El Niño’ brought heavy rains and flooding to parts of California, leaving the roads in conditions most motorists can’t stomach.

Patch Readers gave us a rundown of particularly pocked streets in their neighborhoods. Here are some spots that might be worth detouring:

  • “Skillman, Liberty Rd, Cavanaugh”
  • “There are so many to choose from, its hard to pick just 1.”
  • “Everywhere?”
  • “On Eastman Lane, just off Bodega....teeth chattering holes every foot”
  • “Eastman Lane and Eucalyptus Ave. They are the worst. There is huge hole on Eastman Lane that I swear could swallow a car!”
  • “Petaluma Voted most potholes in the world, and why can’t the city fix them? My car hates visiting Petaluma.”
  • “We have literally had a few popped tires from some of the giant ones! It’s brutal when you can’t swerve into the other lane to avoid them.”
  • “Right now in the 500 block of Maria Drive! The whole street is criss-cross jagged ragged old asphalt and ready to blow!”
  • “Bodega, Washington, Adobe”
  • “Spring hill Rd. And the south Petaluma Blvd 101 off ramp by the gas station”
