Car Fire Investigated In Petaluma
Investigators with the Petaluma Fire Department found signs an accelerant was possibly used.

PETALUMA, CA — The Petaluma police and fire departments are investigating a car fire and are seeking anyone with footage of the incident.
Officers and firefighters were dispatched shortly after 10:30 p.m. Wednesday to the 1400 block of South McDowell Boulevard —near Casa Grande Road — to contain the flames of a burning vehicle.
Petaluma Fire Department investigators found signs that an accelerant was possibly used on the 2000 silver Acura.

Surveillance footage was obtained shortly afterward and showed a white male park the Acura and leave in an unknown red sedan just before the car caught fire, police said.
