Coroner IDs Woman Who Died After Being Found On Petaluma Street
Petaluma police found the woman lying at the northwest corner of Caulfield Lane and Lakeville Street around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

PETALUMA, CA — The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office has identified a woman who died after she was found lying on a Petaluma street last week as 47-year-old Karen Lam.
Petaluma police found Lam at the northwest corner of Caulfield Lane and Lakeville Street around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. She was conscious and breathing but unable to talk, police said.
Lam did not appear to have any visible signs of trauma or injury but appeared to be experiencing some sort of medical issue, police said. She was taken to Petaluma Valley Hospital, where her condition deteriorated and she died, police said Thursday.

Police said they found nothing to indicate the death was suspicious.
Lam's city of residence has not been determined, sheriff's Sgt. Spencer Crum said Tuesday.
