Help Sonoma County Deputies Play 'Santa' This Holiday Season
The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office will collect new, unwrapped toys Wednesday, Dec. 15 as part of its "Pack the Patrol Car" campaign.
SONOMA COUNTY, CA — With Christmas less than two weeks away, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office is winding down its "Pack the Patrol Car" campaign, but residents can still help make the holidays of those less fortunate a little brighter with a small donation.
"We especially need help with gifts for teens!" the sheriff's office posted on its official Facebook page.
The sheriff's office will collect new, unwrapped toys and gifts at the main office lobby until 6 p.m. this Wednesday, Dec. 15 at 2796 Ventura Avenue in Santa Rosa. Deputies welcome donations from the community!

Some teen gift ideas include:
- Gift cards to eateries, coffee shops, bookstores, movie theaters and clothing stores.
- Sports equipment
- Art supplies, sketchbooks and artists sets
- Small electronics
- Legos, board games and puzzles
- Makeup, grooming supplies, fingernail polish
This is the second year in a row the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office has hosted its "Pack the Patrol Car" event.

"This year we knew we had to do it again to continue to help bring some joy to our Sonoma County youth," the sheriff's office said.
After the sheriff's office finished collecting the toys, it will hand them over to local organizations that will then then give them out to the children they serve.
