Man Killed In Attack With Baseball Bat In Petaluma ID'd
The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office identified the 23-year-old victim, who died following the Sunday morning assault on Keller Street.
PETALUMA, CA — The victim of a fatal, baseball bat attack early Sunday morning in Petaluma was identified as Adolfo Martinez Pena, 23 of Novato, the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office said.
At 1:49 a.m., officers responded to reports of a man being assaulted with a baseball bat in the 100 block of Keller Street, police said.
Paramedics attempted live-saving medical assistance, though the man was later pronounced dead.

The official cause of death is still under investigation, police said.
