Man Waves Gun, Robs Petaluma Cellphone Store
Monday evening, a suspect fled with cash from the Boost Mobile store on East Washington. A description of the man has been released.

PETALUMA - A suspect allegedly robbed a cellphone store at gunpoint in Petaluma Monday evening, according to police.
Officers were dispatched to the Boost Mobile at 440 E. Washington Street around 7 p.m. after Petaluma Police were notified of a hold-up alarm. Witnesses said the suspect forced a store employee to open the register at gunpoint before fleeing the scene on foot westbound with an undisclosed amount of cash.
He was described as a Hispanic man between the ages of 18 and 20 with short dark hair. He had a thin build and was 5 foot 6 inches to 5 foot 8 inches tall, according to police.

The suspect was last seen with a black bandana over his face, a black t-shirt, light blue jeans, white and blue tennis shoes and a silver revolver-type handgun.
