Man Who Died In Petaluma Bike Crash Identified
A 69-year-old man who died at a hospital Tuesday after crashing his bicycle in Petaluma on Monday has been identified by authorities.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA -- A 69-year-old man who died at a hospital Tuesday morning after crashing his bicycle in Petaluma on Monday afternoon has been identified as Peter Ehrlich, according to the Sonoma County coroner's office.
Ehrlich, a Petaluma resident, was riding east on B Street at roughly 30 to 35 mph on a downhill grade near El Rose Drive around 1:30 p.m. when he lost control of the bike, went over the handlebars and landed
face down.
Ehrlich suffered a serious head injury and was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, where he died around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to police.
