Names Released In Petaluma Murder-Suicide
An 86-year-old man and an 83-year-old woman were found Tuesday deceased in their mobile home in the Petaluma Estates Mobile Park.

PETALUMA - Police have identified the two people killed Tuesday in a suspected murder-suicide in Petaluma.
Police said Harold Coombes, 86, and Bertha Coombes, 83, were both found deceased in their mobile home in the Petaluma Estates Mobile Park.
Officers responded Tuesday at 12:25 p.m. to the mobile home park at 901 N. McDowell Blvd. after receiving a call from a relative of the couple, who said it appeared they had been shot, police said.

Officers arrived at the scene and confirmed the two were deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
Police said investigators located a firearm in the residence and discovered personal effects, including notes, which suggest the incident started as a homicide and was followed by a suicide.

Police are still working to determine the precise motive of the incident.
